Tuesday morning about 9:30 Plymouth Police Officer John Weir was dispatched to a reckless driver in the areas of Oakhill Avenue and Michigan Street.
The officer located the suspect vehicle backing down Green Street and then onto Michigan Street. He then proceeded to drive down the sidewalk on Oakhill Avenue before the officer got him to stop in the cemetery.
45 year old Chester Napier of Knox was taken into custody and transported to the Plymouth Hospital for a chemical test. Napier was then transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked for Operating a Vehicle with a Controlled Substance and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
