WRMRH_crowdPlymouth, Indiana, February 28, 2017.  This weekend, The Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour, recorded before a live audience at Wild Rose Moon Performing Arts Center in Historic Downtown Plymouth will air on two different radio stations—Plymouth’s own, WTCA,  AM 1050 and FM 106.1, and Elkhart’s Public Radio affiliate WVPE 88.1 FM.  The program features Dennie and Lorrie Snyder, as special musical guests; announcer, Sid Shroyer; The Far Side of the Moon Players, featuring Dan Shuppert and Marianne Peters; musical director, John Bahler; and host, George Schricker.  The first episode was recorded on January 28th, 2017 in The Little Moon Theater on the lower level of the Wild Rose Moon Performing Arts Center.

The Wild Rose Moon radio hour was made possible through a generous grant from the Marshall County Community Foundation.  The grant monies helped fund the installation of a state of the art sound system that allows the production to be recorded.  The Little Moon Theater is a cozy facility with 50 seats that face a long stage where the radio hour takes place.  During the performance, an applause lady, Judy Shroyer helps keep the audience enthused and involved.  Sid Shroyer directs the show and keeps it rolling and on time.  While host, George Schricker, the show’s host, sings the theme song, welcomes the audience, does interviews, and occasionally shares a story.  John Bahler, the show’s musical director handles all the theme music and often shares a song of his own.   Afterwards, the recorded show is edited for broadcast by audio engineer, Nate Butler, of Ignition Garage fame.  Nate also helps record the promos that go on the air prior to the show’s broadcast

Tickets for the Wild Rose Moon radio hour are just $5 and can be purchased, either online at eventbrite.com, or, at ASK for Flowers and Wagoner’s music.  Showtime is always at 2:00 p.m. Saturday and audience members are asked to show up early at 1:30 so the taping can begin promptly and on time.  The next Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour will be recorded  on March 25th and  feature Ann Arbor Songwriter, Mike Vial, who will also be performing that night in the Wild Rose Moon Concert Hall.  Tickets go on sale next week.
