One of the Leadership Marshall County classes is hosting a Donation Drive for supportive housing in Marshall County on March 11th.
The group plans to gather household items that will be used by families experiencing housing insecurities and homelessness in Marshall County.
Kitchen items being collected included tableware, pots and pans, baking dishes, food storage containers with lids, mixing and serving bowls utensils, glasses and mugs, dish towels and cloths along with pot holders. Items can be used but need to be clean and in good condition.
The group will collect gently used furniture, linens and other household items such as bath towels, sheets, blankets, comforters, NEW pillows, shower curtains and hooks, NEW cleaning supplies, laundry baskets, waste baskets, mops and brooms and NEW toiletries.
The Leadership Marshall County group will also collect new and gently used, clean and in good condition adult and children socks and coats.
The Donation Drive will be Saturday, March 11th from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Horse Barn in Centennial Park, near Jefferson School.
