Last week, the ladies of the Triton FFA attended the Young Women in Agriculture conference at Swan Lake. They were joined by girls from John Glenn FFA, Plymouth FFA, Culver FFA, and Argos FFA. The ladies attended a workshop talking about life hacks for young women in agriculture and a panel discussion with ladies that are directly involved with agriculture and Agriculture Ambassadors from Purdue. They enjoyed a meal and keynote speech by Emily Dougherty, Indiana FFA State Southern Region Vice President.

The FFA Chapter at Triton Jr.-Sr. High School, sponsored by Ag teacher, Ms. Fischer, celebrated FFA week with a variety of dress up activities. They also provided ice cream to the staff and attended a conference at Swan Lake. Throughout the week, the students held a contest among the student body to vote for the teacher they’d most like to see “Kiss a Critter”.
The top three “vote” earners were 1st place- Mrs. Shaffer, 2nd place- Mrs. Ousley, and 3rd place- Mr. Brown.
