Two arrested Monday for “dirty” drug screens at the Marshall County Probation Department.
About 10:15 in the morning Officer Steve DeLee with the Plymouth Police Department was called to the Marshall County Probation Department for a probation violation. 32 year old Justin Bealor of LaPorte failed his drug screen and was lodge in the county jail on a $500 cash bond.
Monday afternoon Officer Krynock was dispatched to the Probation Department for another probation violation. 23 year old Grant Kenyon Rhodes of Argos was taken into custody for a failed drug screen and lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a $500 cash bond.
Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
