Congratulations to Triton High School students Bryce Swihart (3.92GPA) and Ryan Snyder (4.139GPA) for making the Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Association Academic All-State team. Both individuals made the first team: Bryce Swihart as Senior Academic All-State and Ryan Snyder is a Junior Academic All-state. Congratulations Gentlemen! Triton is proud of you!
Triton Elementary School fourth graders enjoyed having Dave Lewallen, from REMC, present about electricity and electrical safety. The students we’re excited to deepen their understanding of electric currents, conductors, and insulators.
The 7th grade Pre Algebra class at Triton Jr.-Sr. High School spent the day problem solving in Mrs. Stichter’s class. Nineteen students solved 24 problems each in 45 minutes for a total of 456 problems solved. Students are Cole McKinney, Tyson Yates, Ashton Oveido, Karah Nelson, and Madeline Doll.
Out of the 405 students who tasted the fresh pineapple at Triton Elementary School last Thursday, 367 liked it and only 38 did not like it.
Cohen Stayton was the prize winner in the drawing. He chose a basketball for his prize. We still have plenty have fun prizes up for grab for our next Project Produce day…Zucchini on Feb. 21, 2017.
