Spring is about a month away! For Marshall County residents doing spring cleaning, the Recycle Depot is the place to dispose of those household chemicals that should not be thrown away. These chemicals include: household cleaners, pesticides and fertilizers, oil-based paints and stains, paint thinners, automotive chemicals, over-the-counter and prescription medications, and even cosmetics such as nail polish. The Depot also accepts batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, appliances, electronics such as televisions and computers, and tires. Some fees may apply. A complete list of acceptable items is found at www.myrecycledepot.org.
