MugShot_Matthew WeissOn Wednesday, February 8th, just after 1 am, the Marshall County Police Department responded to the scene of a single vehicle collision in the 18,000 block of 7B Road. County Police Officer Ryan Hollopeter was the investigating officer.

His report indicates that the driver of a silver 2004 Chevrolet Impala, 28 year old Matthew Weiss of Plymouth had collided with a utility pole and telephoned a friend to help him.

MugShot_Troy Lawmaster49 year old Troy Lawmaster also of Plymouth was on the scene attempting to tow the vehicle from the scene when officers arrived.

County Police located Lawmaster and Weiss and through their investigation determined that both Weiss and Lawmaster had been consuming alcohol prior to driving.

Both men were arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail for Operating While Intoxicated and Failure to Stop After Accident Resulting in Property Damage.
