LaPaz Police CarOn Monday, December 19th LaPaz police initiated a traffic stop on Michigan Road for a speed violation.

The driver, 49 year old Carter Scutchfield of North Judson was found to be driving on an operator’s license that expired in 1999.  It was found that he was suspended with prior convictions.

Scutchfield was placed under arrest for driving while suspended with a prior charge and incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail with a bond of $755.00
