Give and Golf Cards for 2017 are now available and just in time for Christmas. A $50 donation to United Way of Marshall County entitles a golfer to play one round of golf at all six popular Marshall County courses: The Golf Club at Swan Lake Resort (Plymouth), Mystic Hills Golf Club (Culver), Pretty Lake Golf Club, Plymouth Rock Golf Course, Sprig O’Mint Golf Club (Bremen), and Tri-Way Golf Club (Plymouth). The value of playing all six courses is over $200. Scheduled tee times and a cart rental may be required and some dates and times may be restricted due to other events at the courses.
Spread joy this Christmas season! Give and Golf cards make great gifts for family, friends and neighbors or employees, clients, and colleagues! Golfers experience all six Marshall County courses, and in turn, help bring change to Marshall County communities. The $50 donation goes to United Way of Marshall County to support education, health and financial stability programs that help people help themselves. United Way supports twenty two member agencies serving those living in poverty and hard working ALICE families (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) too. Twenty eight percent of ALICE families in Marshall County are working hard but not earning enough to meet basic needs. United Way is here to help.
United Way also supports programs like Marshall County Promise, offering a community match to build College Choice 529 accounts for every Marshall County kindergartner and first grader. This program enables the youngest students in Marshall County to dream for their future as they visit Ancilla College during Walk Into My Future events.
Give and Golf Cards for Christmas may be obtained by cash or check at the Bremen Chamber of Commerce and Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, The Pilot News, WTCA AM1050 FM 106.1 radio station and Yoder’s Sports Center. Give and Golf Cards can also be purchased by cash, check or credit card at the United Way of Marshall County office, located at 2701 North Michigan Street in Plymouth or online at www.marshallcountyuw.org.
