City HallThe Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and Common Council meetings will be held Monday evening beginning at 6 p.m. in the council chambers of City Hall.

The Board of Works meeting begins at 6 with bid openings for the 2017 fuel supplies and street materials and the proposals for the police station parking lot project.

City department heads are scheduled to update Board of Works members on the various activities in their department while Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson will present change order number 2 for Thomas Excavating for the Boys & Girls Club Sewer Relocation project.

City Engineer Rick Gaul will present a request of Hunter Transit to install Metronet in the city’s right-of-way at 1440 Pilgrim Lane and City Attorney Sean Surrisi will present a request of Vanco Development.   Ken Mackey will also present a request pertaining to trash cans.

The Common Council meeting is scheduled to begin at 7.

Agenda for the meeting includes the appointment of Abigail Collins as Deputy Clerk-Treasurer and first reading of an ordinance adopting Uniform Internal Control Standards for Indiana Political Subdivisions.

The City Council will hear the request of James Nifong for brush burning, an intergovernmental agreement between Marshall County and the City of Plymouth for dispatch services.  Also on the agenda is a memorandum of understanding for the right-of-way at 11840 Lincoln Highway.

City meetings are open to the public although comments and questions are limited to agenda items only.
