On Thursday, December 8, at approximately 8:50 in the morning the Marshall County Sheriff`s Department received a call in reference to a single vehicle crash in the area King Road south of the intersection with Plymouth-Goshen Trail.
County Police Officer Bragg investigated the crash that involved a vehicle running off of the roadway and striking a utility pole.
When officers arrived at the scene, the driver was not located.
The driver, 28 year old Trisha Lovely of Knox, later informed the Marshall County Sheriff`s Department that she had been traveling southbound on King Road when a deer ran into her vehicle`s lane of travel. She swerved to avoid the collision with the deer and ran off the road colliding with a utility pole. The impact was strong enough to break the pole and cause extensive damage to her vehicle.
