Randy-HeadEvery new state law in Indiana starts out as a bill heard in a legislative committee. The first chances for debate, public testimony and amendments all happen at the committee level.

State Senator Randy Head said, “Our committees take pride in their work, and I believe participating in committee discussion is one of the most important tasks I undertake as your State Senator.”

Senator Head has been appointed to serve on several committees for the 120th General Assembly.  Head will be the Chair for the Senate Committee on Civil Law, and a member for the Senate Committee on Local Government and the Senate Committee on Health and Provider Services

Committee hearings can be viewed online by visiting www.in.gov/iga. Schedules and meeting agendas can also be found on this site.

Head said, “As your State Senator, I take my work at the committee level very seriously. Contact my office with any questions or concerns you may have about issues facing our state.”
