ShopliftingPlymouth Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart on Thursday evening December 1st about 8:45 when Loss Prevention stopped two adult male shoplifters.

Officer Tim Taberski met with Loss Prevention and learned the males had attempted to leave the store without paying for alcohol.  The two subjects were identified at 19 year old Austin Epley and 19 year old Austin Vice both of Plymouth.

The teens were taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail on the charges of Theft and Conspiracy to Commit Theft.

 

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
