The 5th Grade boys basketball team was in action on Thursday vs. Bremen, and despite missing about 30 shots right in front of the basket, prevailed with a victory 18-10, bringing their record to 6-1.  It was the defense of the Rockets that kept them in the game, and after three quarters of basketball, and a score of 8-8, the Rockets put up 10 points in the 4th giving them the victory.  It was the overall play of Tre Jordan and Max Lewandowski that helped bring the Rockets the win.  They each scored 4 points, as well as Coby Walters who had 4.

I the B game, it was a different story as defense and hitting easy shots gave the Rockets a 35-10 victory.  The Rockets made most of their shots around the basket, and played great team defense.  Colton Sellers led the team with 8 points, but it was the great passing from Jaiden Hundt that led to many easy points for the Rockets.  Jack Newcomb added 6 points and Tanner Gault and Davis Yoder each added 4.

The Rockets will end their regular season next Thursday at home vs. North Liberty, and compete in a tournament on Saturday that will also be held at the Launching Pad.
