Earlier this month, Chuck DeWitt presented the county commissioners with his quarterly report.
The third quarter building applications were 171 with an estimated permit value of well over $9 million dollars. DeWitt said, “We are up from a year ago and things are looking very good.”
The number of inspections also saw a substantial increase by assisting Culver starting in September. A total of 495 inspections were completed in the third quarter by the County Building Inspector.
Health and Substandard housing inspections are also seeing an increase with 4 in August 1 in September and 4 in October.
