Lincoln’s 7th Grade A Team headed into the Northwood Tournament on Saturday looking to continue the momentum they had built up in games the previous week but were unable to come away with a victory against two tough opponents.

In the first matchup against the host Northwood Panthers, the Red Storm were able to hang around in a game that was seemingly there for the taking, but could never get out in front and snatch the lead from the host team.  Lincoln fell by a score of 27-36 after heading into halftime down by only a field goal.  The Red Storm were led by Logan Walters’s 8 points in Game 1 of the weekend.
The second matchup saw the Red Storm greeted by a hostile Triton crowd before succumbing to the scintillating shooting of the Trojans, 20-59.  The Red Storm saw 5 3-pointers go in for the Trojans as part of their scoring onslaught.  Connor DeLee’s 8 points, all scored in the 2nd half, led the way for Lincoln in Game 2.
