The Freshman Lady Pilgrims defeated the visiting Lady Vikings of Valparaiso in a Saturdaymorning contest, 39-9.
Plymouth’s record now stands at 5-0. Plymouth raced out to a 26-7 halftime lead, while the stingy Pilgrim “D” held the Vikings to just one basket in the second half.
That defense was led by Erin Renneker, Hanna Talaga, and Anna Bush.
Emily Lafree led all scorers with 19, Mary Kate Flynn 6, Audie Plothow 5, Olive Stanton 4, Sydni Weir 3, and Abby Lee closing out the scoring with 2.
The Young Pilgrims will be off over the Holidays, before traveling to Goshen and a NLC match up with the Lady Red Hawks.
