A traffic stop Friday (11/18/16) morning about 1 a.m. resulted in the arrest of a Gary woman.
An officer with the Marshall County Police Department stopped a vehicle on US 30 near US 31 for speeding. During the traffic stop it was determined that the driver, 36 year old Jennifer Short was in possession of marijuana. Short was then taken into custody and lodged into the Marshall County Jail and held on a $500 cash bond.
