Representatives from Oliver Ford spent Wednesday morning shopping at the Plymouth Wal-Mart Store.  They were buying brand-new coats for this year’s Warm Up Marshall County Coat Drive.

Founder Steve Keyser said they had already received about 500 gently used coats and knows that about 100 more will come in before this weekend’s giveaway.

On Wednesday the staff purchased at a discounted price from Wal-Mart approximately 200 coats from size toddlers up to juniors for both boys and girls.  Coats were purchased from donations and through the generosity of Warm Up Marshall County sponsors, Beacon Credit Union, Morrow Insurance and Oliver Ford Lincoln.

The Hoosier Old Wheels donates gloves for the giveaway and Plymouth FOP 195 will donate new stocking hats.

The Warm Up Marshall County Coat giveaway will be this Saturday and Sunday at the National Guard Armory on Madison Street.  The giveaway will be Saturday from 10 till noon and Sunday from noon till 2 p.m.
