After 4 weeks of learning about the election process (Responsibilities of Being an American Citizen, The Constitution, Elections Past and Present, the Path to the Presidency, and Researching Candidates) the 6th graders at Triton Elementary put their findings into action, and took part in the voting process.
The students began the voting process by registering to vote before October 8.
The week before the election, 6th graders designed and decorated their own voting cubicles to keep their votes confidential.
They ended the process by signing in with a photo I.D, voting online, and receiving their very own, “I Voted” sticker. Great Job 6th graders!
