The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department Reserve’s and Bremen Police Department Reserves will be participating in the DEA’s XII National Drug Take Back Initiative this Saturday.
From 10:00 am until 2:00 pm residence can drop off their expired, unused or unwanted prescription drugs to the Marshall County Sheriff Officers in the parking lot of Walgreens Drug Store at 2014 North Michigan Street in Plymouth or to Bremen Police Officers in the parking lot of CVS Pharmacy at 1150 West Plymouth Street Bremen.
The National Survey on Drug Use and Health in 2009 estimates that there were 7 million non-medical users of prescription drugs in the United States. Expired, unused or unwanted medications in our homes are a potential source of supply to the drug abusers making it a risk to public health and safety.
