ParkDepartmentThere is a lot going on with the Plymouth Park Department for the month of October!

The Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay will be coming through Marshall County on Tuesday, October 4th. Its first stop will be in front of Centennial Park about 4:30.  Make sure to bring the family to enjoy the festivities downtown!!

On October 8th, Discover Plymouth will be holding a concert at River Park Square beginning at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $10.00 per person, 15 years and under are free but must be accompanied by an adult. Pack your coolers and come on down to enjoy some great tunes!

The Plymouth Park Department will be hosting their annual Haunted Grounds event on Thursday, October 20th at the Conservation Clubhouse from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Families are invited to bring their kids out and enjoy games, a hay ride, a hay maze, free pumpkins, popcorn, hot chocolate, nachos and of course, what’s Halloween without candy! Everything is free for you and your families so come and enjoy the Haunted Grounds.

The Plymouth Park Department wants to thank the Boys & Girls Club of Marshall County for putting together the Haunted Hay Ride. Without the donation from Blake’s Pumpkin Patch of Plymouth and Yellow River Festival, the park would not have pumpkins.  Others who have helped to sponsor this event are Bane Welker Equipment, the Plymouth Optimist Club, Boy Scout Troop 257, Bay Valley Foods and the Center Township 4-H Clubs.
