County News_logoLast month the Marshal County Board of Finance began the process of bidding out the county’s cash management accounts for the next 2-year period, from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2018.

 

On Monday, Board of Finance members: Treasurer Penny Lukenbill and Commissioners Deb Greiwank, Kurt Garner and Kevin Overmyer gathered in the second floor meeting room of the County Building and accepted Requests For Proposals from six local banking institutions.  The banks presenting RFP’s were First Source Bank, Teachers Credit Union, IAB Financial Bank, Lake City Bank, Centier Bank and 1st Farmers Bank & Trust.

 

County Treasurer Penny Lukenbill will review the RFP’s and create a spread sheet that Board of Finance members can see the comparison on interest rates and monthly charges along with other facts.

 

Members of the Board of Finance will award the contract on October 17th.
