Thursday evening the Bremen Chamber of Commerce held their annual dinner at St. Isadore’s Hall.

 

Trend Weldy, President of the Chamber welcomed the 100 attendees and served as Master of Ceremonies.

 

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the volunteer awards and the Lifetime Achievement Awards.

 

BremenChamber_AnnualDinner2016_VolunteersGrace Mikel was the Bremen Middle School Award winner and Elizabeth Lawmaster a senior at Bremen High School was the high school winner. Joanna Fox was the adult Volunteer service Award winner.

 

The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes a person or persons that have devoted a large part of their life to Bremen and Bremen businesses. Weldy said, “There are people who have laid down the foundation for a strong, vibrant business community.”

 

This year’s winners of the Bremen Chamber of Commerce Lifetime Achievement Awards are Ed Berry who has been at Woodies Supermarket for 46 year; Keith Board a 31 year Indistrial Tech teacher at Bremen High School and Dr. David Rosentrater who has served the Bremen community for 30 years.

 

Weldy closed the annual meeting saying, “On behalf of the Bremen Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Bremen we would like to thank each of the winners for their outstanding dedication, service and commitment to making the Bremen Community a good town. Through these values and examples we hope for future generations to strive forward in the progress of Bremen, securing a bright positive future ahead.”
