The Plymouth Board of Aviation Commissioners (BOAC) held a Special meeting on Tuesday (9-27-16) evening in the City Council Chambers. The meeting was to open sealed quotes for a proposed sewer project that will hook the Plymouth Municipal Airport into the city’s sewer system.

The airport has utilized a home style septic system for the last 51 years and now has 6 restrooms feeding that system with a strong need for a seventh restroom.

Four quotes were received on the project: Haskin’s Underground from Plymouth for $26,250; Hunter Transit from Plymouth for $23,575; Linear Dynamics Corp. from Crown Point at $48,875 and Thomas Excavating & Welding from Culver in the amount of $31,586.

The bids were taken under advisement and will be awarded at the next Aviation Board meeting on October 11th.
