The LaPaz Fire Department responded to a structure Fire Friday morning just after 5 a.m. The barn, at 880 King Road was totally engulfed in flames.
Lakeville Fire and the Plymouth Fire Department assisted in extinguishing the blaze that took several hours knock the blaze down.
Fire fighters were able to contain the fire to the barn and no other buildings were burned although some did sustain damage from the heat of the blaze.
Fire crews were on the scene for several hours pulling hay stored in the barn out to be sure the fire was totally extinguished before leaving the scene. An excavator way used to assist firefighters.
No injuries reported in battling the fire.
