Last week members of the Plymouth Board of Zoning Appeals denied the request of a variance for Tim and Marcia Harris at 1300 North Michigan Street.
The Harris’s replaced a deteriorating privacy fence on the north side and east side of the property. They left the main wooden poles and put up new board with the cross members on the outside. According to city ordinance the cross members are to be in toward your property and the nice smooth side to the outside.
The BZA denied their request and ordered them or change the fence.
The Harris’s had a second variance request to place to portable shed 5 feet from the front yard and side yard setbacks.
The Plymouth Board of Zoning Appeals approved this request.
