A library card is the coolest card and September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when Culver – Union Township Public Library joins with the American Library Association and public libraries nationwide to make sure that every student has the most important school supply of all – a free library card. Resources at the Culver Library are available to anyone who has a library card. The community can turn to the library for materials, programs and services that support academic achievement and individual growth. Culver Union Township Public Library offers access to important educational resources, including: OverDrive, Ancestry.com, and Inspire, now featuring Rosetta Stone.
Throughout the course of the month, the library will host a number of activities, including: Book Clubs, Exercise for Seniors, Adult Coloring, Computer Classes, Genealogy, Writers’ Circle, an INSPIRE class for People’s University, a family storytime, and a special author visit from Kathy Smart.
