The Marshall County Alcohol Beverage Commission was scheduled to meet Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.
The agenda included renewal of fraternal club beer, wine and liquor permit for the American Legion in Plymouth and the Plymouth Elks Lodge; a beer and wine grocery permit for the Park N Shop in Culver; a beer and wine drug store permit for Plymouth Krogers; a beer and wine restaurant permit for Pat’s Inc.; a restaurant beer, wine and liquor permit for Applesbee’s and a package store permit for beer, wine and liquor for the Argos Party Pack.
Local members Maria Keller, Vida Creed and Jan Fisher appeared for the meeting but Excise Officer Michelle Traughber failed to appear for the meeting.
Only two of the renewals appeared in person for the meeting, Pat’s Inc and Indiana Supermarkets for Park N Shop.
After contacting the state seeking advice on how to handle the meeting the local members renewed Pat’s with no issues. The Park N Shop had a violation so the local board renewed their grocery permit for one year and ordered them to appear for the renewal next year.
