Heartland Gallery logoSaturday, Oct. 1st, Heartland Artist Gallery will host ‘Experience the Arts in Marshall County’ Event Block Party. It will take place in the Art Block on North Michigan Street in downtown Plymouth from 11-7. People may view the juried art from the 28th Annual Regional Juried Art Exhibit in the Heartland Gallery as well as member art in two Annex Galleries; City Centre, and Wild Rose Moon and PHS student art at the Plymouth Chamber). And Marshall County Historical Museum will be displaying historic art from their archives.

Kids Art class are available Saturday at 12:00 or 2:00 at the Marshall County Museum – Community Room. Kids will paint their own train with Kathy Zentz for $10.,  ages 6-12 yrs. Wine, Color and Canvas is an adult class that will take place at 1:00 and 3:00 at the City Centre’s Back Room. Participants will be able to paint their own ‘Art Experience’ canvas with artist, Laura Balla for $30.

They can also experience art talks and demonstrations, kids and adult art classes, craft beer tasting and Schnabeltier Cheese & Wine tasting, Walleye Fish sandwiches, food, desserts and drink, photo opportunities of all the Plymouth three foot blueberry sculptures placed together, a dance performance and street musicians throughout the one-day event. The street musicians include: Martin and Corinne Lucas-Return to Normal, Doug Harsch, George Schricker & Howard Gibbs-Crackin’ Up. There will be a concert at Wild Rose Moon by Adrienne Frailey & Cool Change at 7:30 on Friday, Sept. 30th. Oct. 1st at 7:30 Peter Nye & Dan Moser will perform at Wild Rose Moon in the same block as the event.
