Tonight the Lady Redstorm defeated the Laville Lady Lancers in three close games filled with great volleyball. Lincoln started strong in game one with some tough serving. Laville made a comeback late in the game, but the defense stepped up and brought home the win 25-21. In game two Laville took advantage of the fresh faces on the court and got up to an early lead. Lincoln fought back and got within range, but fell short 19-25. The third game was full of long volleys, high intensity and great volleyball. Lincoln came out victorious with a score of 15-12. Tonight was a great whole team win. The ladies will be in action next week on Wednesday and Thursday at home against Indian Springs and LaPorte Kesling. We hope to see you there!
Last night (8/31) the 7th grade volleyball team cam out ready to play and won against Laville in 2 games. After a disappointing loss against New Prairie the night before, the girls were ready to come out and work as a team to win. There were huge contributions made from everyone on the roster, including some girls who didn’t miss a serve and went on great serving runs. The girls have a break now as we head into the Blueberry Festival and Labor Day weekend. However, they will be back in action and ready to play and win on 9/7 at home against Indian Springs!
