Early Friday morning, August 26, at approximately 12:30 an officer with the Marshall County Police Department conducted a traffic stop on US 31 near US 30. During the investigation it was determine the driver, 30 year old Frank Gonzales of South Bend was impaired. Gonzales was transported for a certified test and later lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Possession of Cocaine 10 grams or more, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated on a Controlled Substance, and False Informing.
The passenger, 30 year old Joshua Johnson also of South Bend was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.
