ArrestedPlymouth Police units were dispatched to the Red Rock Inn Sunday morning just before 11 when a suspect from a previous theft was spotted.

Officer Derek Workman observed 28 year old Nathan Kilburn of Illinois running from the motel and towards the Economy Inn across the street.

After apprehending Kilburn he told police where the stolen items were located.  A search of his person also revealed syringes and drug paraphernalia.  He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked for Theft and Unlawful Possession of Syringe and held on a $4500 cash bond.

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
