sheriff_starMarshall County Sheriff Matt Hassel’s July Activity Report for the Jail and Bookings list the top ten offenses for being booked into the jail.

Starting at 10th was Burglary.  9th was Resisting Law Enforcement while 8th was Violation of Home Detention and 7th was Battery.  Number 6 on the list is Theft and 5th is Probation Violation with 4th being Driving While Suspended while 3rd was Operator Never Licensed.  The top two offenses for being booked into the jail in July was Failure to Appear and number 1 Operating While Intoxicated.

There were a total of 161 jail bookings in July and the average daily population was 132.

County officers handled 107 case reports, issued 191 citations, investigated 60 property damage accidents and 9 personal injury accidents.
