While on routine patrol Officer Wozniak with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of US 31 and US 30 Friday morning about 12:15.

 

The vehicle was stopped for disregarding a traffic control device and an equipment violation. The driver, 27 year old Samantha Ring of Schoolcraft, Michigan was found to be in possession of a large amount of marijuana and paraphernalia. She was taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for Possession and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
