Just before midnight on Saturday city police were dispatched to the intersection of North Michigan Street and Skylane Drive for a male subject walking on Michigan Street screaming for someone to kill him and also saying he was going to kill someone.

City Officer Ryan Richey located 25 year old Charles Chapman of Plymouth in front of Ponderosa. While attempting to check the welfare of Mr. Chapman he became combative with officers.

Charles Chapman was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct and held on a $500 cash bond.
