In the fall of 2014 the Plymouth Park Board approved free use of the Webster Center for the Neuter Scooter, an innovative approach to controlling cat overpopulation by making spay/neuter services convenient and affordable to everyone with a mobile veterinary clinic.

The Neuter Scooter has been very success over the past 18 months with at times, up to 100 cats being fixed during each visit.

During this month’s Plymouth Park Board meeting members decided to enter into an agreement with the Neuter Scooter to rent the Webster Center. The agreement calls for a payment of $200 for each visit.

The park board realizes the benefit to the community having the Neuter Scooter visit and know they have taken proper care of the center when they’ve used it so they approved the reduced rental rate.
