The Marshall County Council will meet hold their regular monthly meeting on Monday evening instead of their regular morning meeting. The meeting has been moved to the evening to allow citizens who are making their property tax payment an easier chance of locating a parking space.
Agenda for the meeting includes an tax abatement request from Headsight Inc. and Gramm Holding Company, a salary increase request by Annette Osborn from the WIC Office for a state salary increase and a budget request by Debbie VanDeMark for 2016 and 2017.
The Council will hear recommendations from the Personnel Committee an additional security personnel for the County Building and on a part-time Substance Abuse Officer for Community Corrections.
The County Commissioners will be on hand to discuss the relocation of the Health Department to the Community Resource Center and discuss the 2016 Highway Department Road Plan. The commissioner will also present the resolutions gathered from the various towns and city in Marshall County that show their support for LOHUT and or CEDIT.
Also on the County Council agenda it additional appropriation requests and transfer requests.
