Earth-day-logoAs a continuation of a new tradition, the Mayor’s Youth Council of Plymouth will hold their fourth annual Earth/Arbor Day celebration in River Park Square this weekend.  The scheduled date for this clean-up and tree planting event is April 23rd, from 9 a.m. until 1 in the afternoon.  All Plymouth residents are invited to volunteer; there are only a few requirements. You must RSVP to the Mayor’s office by calling 574-936-6717 or emailing them at mayor@plymouthin.com. Please provide the number of participants, 11 or older. It is required that all volunteers wear close-toed shoes and long pants. It is also recommended that all volunteers wear work gloves, and that they dress appropriately for the weather. As a small token of appreciation, doughnuts will be provided to those who are willing to work to make Plymouth more earth-friendly!
