Marshall_County_JailMarshall County Sheriff Matt Hassel released the top ten offenses for being booked into the County Jail in March.

Burglary was number 10 on the list while Holds for Other Agencies was 9th and Theft was 8th.  Possession of Controlled Substances was 7th with Probation Violations 6th and Driving While Suspended was 5th.    Rounding out the top ten you will find Marijuana being the number 4 reason while people were booked into the county jail last month with Operator Never Licensed as 3rd, Failure to Appear number 2 and Operating While Intoxicated the number one reason.

There were a total of 170 bookings into the Marshall County Jail in March and the average daily population was 114.

County Officers took 79 case reports, wrote 323 citations, investigated 52 property damage accidents and 12 personal injury crashes in March.
