TASKThe Argos Community School Board has determined the need to seek additional funding to support their schools.   A referendum will be on the primary ballot on May 3rd and Argos residents will have the opportunity to show their support for the future of children and the future of the Argos community by voting in favor.

If the referendum is successful on the ballot Argos School taxpayers will help provide funding so that the programs that have made the schools some of the best in Indiana continue.

Funds from the referendum will be used to protect programs designed to prepare Argos students for the educational, public service and employment options of the future.

The additional financial support will enable the Argos School Corporation to retain the teachers that they have and hire quality teachers for their classrooms.  The funding would also allow Argos to continue programs such as Project Lead the Way, and allow them to add Robotics and expanded Agriculture.

Anyone interested in learning more about TASK, Taxpayers for Argos Schools and Kids should attend the community presentation on Monday, April 11th.  The presentation will be held in the Community Life Center at the Argos United Methodist Church on Michigan Road at 7 p.m.
