The Lake Max Trail Committee, in coordination with the Town of Culver, will hold a public input session in the large meeting room of the Culver Union Township Library, 105 N Main Street, Culver, on Wednesday, April 13th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. to solicit public input on the creation of a Bike and Pedestrian Master Plan for Culver and the surrounding area, including Lake Maxinkuckee.
The purpose of the meeting is to collect citizen input on planning the route, trail design, and the role of bicycle and pedestrian transportation in and around the town of Culver, both short term and long term. Any interested parties are encouraged to attend. The Culver Town Council recently hired Troyer Group as a planning consultant to help develop a master plan for bicycle and pedestrian facilities to better connect Culver and the surrounding area. Mike Reese and Jonathon Geels, Landscape Architects, and Chris Waidner, Professional Engineer, from Troyer Group will be directing the input session on behalf of the town and the trail committee.
