On Tuesday, October 6th Starke County officers responded to the area of the Fingerhut Bakery on Bass Lake on County Road 210 for a complaint of illegal drugs.
Officers were flagged down by subjects sitting around a vehicle in the parking lot. As officers spoke to a female she appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. A request to search the vehicle was denied. K9 Terror was deployed and indicated the presence of narcotics.
Officers saw the male subject throw a bag into the grass. When they located it they discovered mathamphetamine.
Both are being held with no bond until their initial hearing in Starke Circuit Court.
