MugShot_Lindemeyer, CodyOn September 8, the Plymouth Police Department received a report regarding the theft of a handgun from a residence in Plymouth. This handgun was listed in NCIC as a stolen gun.

On September 11, the South Bend Police Department received reports regarding shots fired in South Bend and two subjects were arrested after pursuing the stolen moped that they were riding on.

This information was relayed to the Plymouth Police Department after both subjects were arrested and the stolen gun was recovered.

Detective Mangus investigated this incident further in South Bend and Plymouth and learned that Cody Lindemeyer had sold the gun to one of the suspects.

Cody Lindemeyer was charged with Theft in Marshall County and an Arrest Warrant was issued. Detective Mangus arrested Cody Lindemeyer on Tuesday, September 22. His bond was set at $3,000 cash.
