Sheriff's Star BadgeDriving While Intoxicated tops the list of reasons why people were booked into the Marshall County Jail in July.  Following right behind on the “Top Ten” list are Operator Never Licensed, Driving While Suspended, Probation Violations and Marijuana.  The remainder of the “Top Ten” list includes Failure to Appear, Theft, Possession of Controlled Substance, Violation of Home Detention and Court Ordered Hearings.

There were 164 jail bookings into the Marshall County Jail in July.  138 were booked by the various police agencies in the county while 26 were court ordered bookings.

County police officers investigated 56 property damage accidents and 15 personal injury crashes.  County officers also took 103 case reports and wrote 243 citations.
