Hunter EdA two day hunter education seminar will be held in Marshall County, at the Moose Lodge on West Jefferson Street in Plymouth on Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th.  Class will be from 11 to 5 on Saturday and 11 till 3 on Sunday.

All materials will be provided to participants although you may want to bring a highlighter and pencil to make in you books.  There is no minimum age requirement although the recommended maturity level is 8 years of age. Participants are required to attend the entire seminar to be eligible for certification.  Students 12 and under must have a guardian with them.    

A lunch break will be provided and students may leave, bring a sack lunch or purchase food from the Moose Lodge.   The lodge will provide a hamburger platter for $2.75 and a hot dog platter for $2.00 drinks will be $1.

The free Indiana Hunter Education course will provide instruction in areas of safe firearm use and handling while hunting, as well as in the home, hunter ethics and responsibility, game identification and conservation management. 

Anyone born after December 31, 1986 is required to be certified in Hunter Education before they can purchase a hunting license.
