“Blind Date With A Book” at the Plymouth Public Library

  01/29/14 The Plymouth Public Library is offering a special program during the month of February. 

Adults and young adults, do you judge a book by its cover? Now you won’t be able to. The Plymouth Public Library would like to ‘fix you up’ with a blind date with a book.  The library will select a variety of books, put them in a plain brown envelope and you won’t know the ‘identity’ of your blind date till you get it home. Will it be fiction or non-fiction? Funny, informative, a mystery, true-crime??? Sure you might be disappointed; but then again … you may end up having a great read with something you wouldn’t have chosen for yourself. 

In the Children’s Department at the Plymouth Public Library, kids can participate in the “Book Buddies” program.  It works the same way as the adult and young adult program. 

So, stop by the library anytime between February 1 and February 28, and who knows, you might get lucky, and find a new favorite book or author.
