The first full week of May is annually recognized as National Travel and Tourism Week, a tradition first celebrated in 1984, established by a Congressional joint resolution passed in 1983.  Celebrate National Tourism Week with Marshall County Tourism with fun event happenings nearly every day to educate, excite, and engage the community and visitors in tour and travel.

Marshall County Tourism is celebrating National Tourism Week with a few events throughout the week of May 3-11, 2014. These events include:

Monday May 5:  Tourism Partner’s Breakfast – Come and join Executive Director Cori Humes and Visitor Center Coordinator Jessica Beatty at the Marshall County Visitor Center for donuts, bagels, and muffins! Enjoy a hot cup of coffee or cold glass of orange juice from 8:00am-9:30am.

Wednesday May 7:  Marshall County Tourism welcomes Executive Director Mark Newman for the Indiana Office of Tourism Development! Please join us as we hear all the great happenings in State Tourism! Welcome Mark from 10am-11am at the Marshall County Historical Society Museum located at 123 N. Michigan Street in historic downtown Plymouth!
