03/12/14  Plymouth Police Chief Dave Bacon presented the February activity report during Monday night’s Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.  Calls for information and complaints topped the February report with 786 calls for information and 174 complaints.  City officers conducted 167 traffic stops last month and responded to 165 9-1-1 calls.

Plymouth Police wrote 115 case reports, issued 82 citations, assisted other agencies 51 times and make 39 arrests in February.  Officers investigated 38 accidents, responded to 35 alarms, signed 33 adult charges, and handled 30 animal complaints. The city’s K-9, Jax was used 16 times last month, and officers filed 6 juvenile charges. 

During the month of February city officers also conducted 291 residential security checks
